Despite Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex‘s very public return via her new Netflix show With Love, Meghan, her husband Prince Harry barely appeared in the series.
The royal only made a brief appearance at the end of the show to attend his wife’s brunch party.
In the finale episode, Meghan, 43, says she threw the brunch party as she believes “there’s just something really charming about it and I think it’s a great way to connect,” she said.

Prince Harry’s background appearances in With Love, Meghan
Though that marks his only appearance on set, Harry’s presence is felt in other ways throughout the series.
The Duke of Sussex appeared in a number of flashbacks throughout the series.
His voice can be heard in a clip of the couple arranging a balloon arch for their son Archie’s first birthday, as well as a clip of him surprising his wife and her friend Delfina Blaquier while they were on a hike in the past.
The 40-year-old was also mentioned throughout the series, with Meghan mentioning as she cooked bacon that the scent usually, “brings my husband and three dogs to the kitchen, not my perfume,” before she broke into a rendition of Kelis’ song Milkshake with “My bacon brings all the boys to the yard.”

She also shared a quirk that he had from his upbringing in the UK. She and actress Mindy Kaling made a ladybug dish using tomatoes, olives and burrata cheese, which reminded the royal, “Harry calls ladybugs ladybirds – that’s how they do it in the UK”
Kaling jokingly replied that he needs to call them ladybugs since he lives in the US now.
Meghan also shared with Kaling that her husband likes salty food, and puts salt on dishes before even tasting them.
The couple also close out the series, with the last frame being a shot of the two hugging and Meghan saying, ”To love. Can’t end on a better note than that.”

Why the prince didn’t appear much
Harry was expected to make a significant appearance in the series, but it appears the royal’s lack of screen time was intentional on his part.
A crew member from the show told People, “Whenever Harry visited set, he was always super polite and friendly. But it was clear he wanted this to be Meghan’s moment to shine.”
