“Happy birthday to Adrienne who turns 7 today! Every day you fill our hearts with love and we are so lucky to have you! ❤️,” Princess Madeleine, 42, wrote to her 343,000 Instagram followers.
The mother of three, who shares Prince Nicolas, Princess Leonore and Princess Adrienne with her husband, Christopher O’Neill, usually limits her children’s exposure to social media.
A rare glimpse at the young royal – looking all grown-up – prompted fans to flood the post’s comment section.

“Happy 7th Birthday to our beautiful Princess Adrienne.❤️😍🎀,” one user wrote.
“Happy 7th Birthday to Princess Adrienne 🎂🎉💗. She is so grown up and so beautiful 🌸💜,” another added.
The young royal has spent the last six years living with her family in Florida after she and her siblings were stripped of some royal titles in 2019.

The change meant the Prince and Princess titles became personal and not transferable to their future children.
Their titles of Duke and Duchess are hereditary, which they would retain.
An official statement from Fredrik Wersäll, the Marshal of the Realm, read: “His Majesty The King has decided on changes to The Royal House.

“The purpose of these changes is to establish which members of The Royal Family may be expected to perform official duties incumbent on the Head of State or related to the function of the Head of State,” it explained.
“His Majesty The King has decided that the children of Their Royal Highnesses Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, and the children of Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine and Mr Christopher O’Neill will no longer be members of The Royal House.”

Princess Madeleine posted a statement on her Instagram account at the time: “This change has been planned for a long time.
“Chris and I think it is good that our children now have a greater opportunity to shape their own lives as individuals in the future.”

As Madeleine regularly travels back to Sweden to join the royal family for official events, she recently celebrated another family birthday.
On February 20th, she made a post honouring Princess Leonore, writing, “Happiest 11th birthday Leonore! It warms my heart to see your love and passion for horses and especially for Haidi! The two of you have a special bond ❤️❤️.”
